The time has come. Phaust and I have been very hard at work with a massive amount of other projects. Phaust has been working with Vividend on Youth In Eyes - I've been occupied with Everybody Does This Vol. 2, my Solo B-Sides Collection and Common Labor. But now is the time for Sinthesis to show off our brand new album: Horseshoes & Handgrenades.

It took us a long time to put this album together. Many of the songs existed as skeletons, we would pass ideas back and forth via the internet. Slowly putting song ideas together. Then, when Phaust got married, we had a marathon recording session over 5 days where we re-recorded almost every aspect. Guitars, Bass, Organ, Vocals, Drums, shakers and guns. What we are left with is 1 part Blues, 1 part Hip-Hop, 1 part Rock and a completely new Sinthesis. I really want to thank everyone that tags along for the ride with us. I know we always change our sound with every new album. Click the images for the Bandcamp or just go here:

If you have come here - then you are special because you care about the Basement and you should be rewarded for that. As your reward I give you the below image:
Up until know Analyrical and I have been going by the name The Troubadours, The Truebadours, The True.Bad.Ours or Analyrical and Phingaz. On 08/18/2012 - Same day as the Everybody Does This Vol. 2 release party, we will officially drop this Digital 12" under our actual name: Common Labor. Why Common Labor? For me, this project speaks about work, working at music, bending and twisting it, getting it to perform and sound as you want it too. It's been work for me to push my self lyrically and Analyrical has helped me do that. We have a full length we've titled "Tales of The Troubadours" - (Had to get the Troubadours reference back in there!) - that will be releasing this Fall/Winter. I am honestly so damn excited for this release, the anticipation is killing me. Until the album drops, please enjoy these songs, beats and acapellas.

Welcome back to my right foot! I've gotten the boot off, bout to tie the knot AND have a fresh plate of new music to serve up.
Currently in the pipeline:

New Sinthesis Album - Horseshoes & Handgrenades. This album is done. All done. Dropping sometime after the wedding.

Phingaz & Analyrical - This one is extra special. I'm not sure if we are ready to let the cat out of the bag - but we are excited.

BNC - We will be bringing you a new collection of Jams. Details are currently being ironed out, but the party is booked and it's going to not suck.

Keep checking back here at the basement - come July we are going to get back to a more steady flow of content: songs, podcast will return, and anything else I can come up with!

The Basement has been a little empty lately. Due to the fact its a PAIN for me to get to now-a-days.
I've broken my heel - Right on the cusp of releasing Broken Glass so it's fitting.
I broke it during the first day of shooting for this:
I love how the video turned out - even though I'm only in it for about 20 seconds. My verse splits

I've done it...  I've finally done it! I've put together this collection of Solo Songs. That's right! Solo! The response has been great so far! Thanks for all of the support and love over the years!

So here it be - the first 'Official' Truebadours show. What is/are The Truebadours? We are myself and Colin aka Analyrical from BNC. We are an experiment that has grow into a full blown machine. We will be showing off BRAND NEW JAMS - This is some of the most interesting, eclectic stuff I've ever been apart of. I am SO SO proud to show off this music - please come out and have a good time with us. If you can't - then just listen to the music we make and share - always share.

Alright, so The Basement itself ISN'T on the radio. But it is REALLY DAMN CLOSE. Earlier this year TQD put out his new album Taketh Away. (See below) The entire album was recorded here in The Basement along with all of the mixing. The Current (Radio station here in The Twin Cites) has an online, all local streaming music feed. This feed supplements their main station, 89.3 FM. On that feed you can request a song, by TQD, recorded by me, in The Basement, Featuring myself along with fellow crew member Status Reign. SO, following that line of logic - The Basement is on the radio.

Clicking that link - Dropping in an email and a reason to request it will cause the song to play. That is AWESOME. So please share this news with everyone that needs to know it, because knowing is half the battle kids.
